Darlington: Advancing Equality in Health and Social Care

Darlington

Darlington LINk was an award-winning independent network that aimed to improve local health and social care services, ensuring everyone’s voice is heard. The LINk has now been replaced by Darlington’s Local Healthwatch as part of the changing health landscape. However, the spirit of partnership working established by the LINk remains. This case study explores some of the LINk’s achievements prior to April 1, 2013.

Our Compact Voice Satisfaction Survey 2013 has now closed and we’d like to thank everyone who completed the survey.

Surveys are a vital tool for all organisations, but especially smaller ones like Compact Voice, because they enable us to reach a wide range of people simply and effectively.

The two organisations created a new Community Fire Prevention network to raise awareness in the most vulnerable communities in Bury and Rochdale.
